The upper compartment shows the rural life in Brittany with ladies and gents dressed in traditional outfits.
The lower compartment illustrates the world famous French paintings 'The evening prayer' (1859) and the 'Gleaners' (1857) by Jean Francois Millet.
The hutch is made of solid chestnut. and it dates back to the 1860's and is held with wood dowels only.
